As a token of appreciation to our current corporate clients, as well as to broaden our network with customers, event, MICE, and wedding organizers we held an event titled “An Evening with the Mercures”. We held this event last Friday, 30 April 2010. This was our first gathering for these clients.

With its strategic location – not far from Denpasar city and only 20 minutes way from Ngurah Rai International airport, also the serene natural ambience of Mertasari beach.

Mercure Resort Sanur has a unique, potential selling point for meetings as well as weddings.
In this very fortunate occasion, we launched our latest meeting as well as wedding package.

In the delightful evening, we entertained our guests with the marvelous performance from popular guest stars from Jakarta : Rio Febrian, Jeanette, and Sabria Kono. Rio Febrian and Jeanette astonished the audience with their well-known hits. In this occasion, Jeanette – a new comer in Indonesia music industry, featured her first album titled “Aku Rindu”.

MRA Bali International Triathlon

There’s less than two months to go until the 3rd MRA Bali International Triathlon at Jimbaran Bay on Sunday, June 28, 2009.

Registrations remain on target for both Indonesian and international athletes signing up to participate in an event named the “best triathlon destination” by Competitor Magazine.

On race day, individual participants and corporate relay teams of three will set off on an 1.5 km swim in Jimbaran Bay, followed by a 40 km bike race down Bali’s Ungasan peninsula and Nusa Dua, and finishing with a 10 km running foot race through the village of Jimbaran.

The Bali Arts Festival this year will be held from June 13 thru July 11, 2009. It is a full month of daily performances, handicraft exhibitions and other related cultural and commercial activities during which literally the whole of Bali comes to the city to present its offerings of dance, music and beauty.

The Bali Arts Festival is the Denpasar cultural event of the year, perhaps it would no be too far fetched to suggest that it is the cultural event of Indonesia. The festival is thus a unique opportunity to see local village culture both “live” and at first hand. Tourists are warmly welcomed.
