Mercure Bali Sanur Resort - A Social Village Partnership Gathering

As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen community relations and enhance the quality of life for the local population, Mercure Bali Sanur Resort, in collaboration with SOS Gatot Kaca Clinic, organized a social initiative titled “A Social Village Partnership Gathering” on Sunday, 1 June 2025. The event took place starting at 6:00 AM at Taman Inspirasi Muntig Siokan, Mertasari Beach, Sanur Kauh.

Partnering with the Community Empowerment Organization (LPM) of Sanur Kauh Village, the event featured a range of activities including free health check-ups, a morning fun walk, and live local music performances, all open to the general public.

This initiative reflects Mercure Bali Sanur Resort’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), particularly in providing care and access to basic healthcare services for informal workers such as beach vendors, traditional massage therapists, jukung fishermen, and other underserved community groups.

The event was also supported by the village officials, hamlet heads, and various community representatives who actively participated in ensuring its success. The free health services provided included blood pressure checks, blood sugar and cholesterol screenings, as well as on-site medical consultations delivered by professionals from SOS Clinic.

Through this activity, Mercure Bali Sanur Resort hopes to foster stronger bonds between the hospitality industry and the local community, in line with the values of sustainability and inclusivity championed by the Accor Hotels network.
